IPOB Bans Rearing And Consumption Of ‘Fulani’ Cattle In South-East

The Indigenous Folks of Biafra (IPOB) has banned rearing and consumption of ‘Fulani’ cattle in Igboland.

 

Mazi Chika Edoziem, Head of IPOB’s Directorate of State acknowledged that the “ban takes full impact six months from 08/10/2021.”

 

Edoziem stated from April 8, 2022, solely the native breed would “be consumed and used for all ceremonies in Biafraland.

The assertion learn;

“eighth April 2022 is the date. From that date, no extra Fulani Cow shall be allowed into Biafraland for any purpose, not for burials, title taking, weddings and many others.

 

“Solely Efi Igbo (Native Cow) shall be consumed and used for all ceremonies in Biafraland.”

 

He claimed that the choice was taken following fixed assaults on Igbos by suspected Fulani herdsmen, leading to killing and raping of South-East ladies and different types of assaults.
