Insecurity: Gunmen have taken over my constituency – Benue lawmaker cries out

Member representing Makurdi North Constituency within the Benue State Home of Meeting Hon. Terfa Kudi, has mentioned his constituents are at the moment ravenous, due to rising insecurity within the state.

The lawmaker mentioned that 70 per cent of the constituents who’re predominantly farmers, have been sacked from their ancestral houses and can’t go to the farms.

He mentioned that individuals shouldn’t have meals the place they’re taking refuge, in Internally Displaced Individuals (IDPs) camps and homes of relations in Makurdi city.

The lawmaker expressed fears that if severe safety measures weren’t taken to curtail the assaults, people may be attacked even in Makurdi city.
