The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has reacted to the courtroom ruling which nullified the governorship main of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State.

Pressinformant earlier reported that the Federal Excessive Courtroom sitting in Abuja, on Monday, had dominated that Senator Andy Uba will not be a sound candidate of the APC for the 2021 Anambra governorship election held on November 6.

The courtroom in a ruling on Monday by the presiding decide, Justice Inyang Ekwo stated the APC didn’t conduct a sound main election.

Ekwo additional instructed the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) to delete all information about Uba’s participation within the Anambra governorship polls from its information.

Reacting to the judgement in an interview with The PUNCH, APGA Nationwide Chairman, Victor Oye, counseled the courtroom for nullifying Uba’s emergence as APC governorship candidate.

He lambasted Uba for failing to just accept that APGA’s Chukwuma Soludo received the Anambra governorship election and is the governor-elect.

Oye additionally gave kudos to the judiciary for displaying braveness within the face of adversity and intimidation by APC members.

He stated, “It was the best resolution to succeed in by the courtroom within the face of the absurdities that occurred throughout the APC governorship main in Anambra State.

“The worst mistake Andy Uba made was to not have accepted defeat after the November 6, 2021 election adjudged by the entire world as free, truthful and credible.

“So, we’re glad that the Nigerian judiciary has continued to indicate braveness and equity within the face of adversity.”
