“…. Solely final weekend, we piloted one more innovation within the Isoko-South-1 State Constituency bye-election in Delta State.
We launched the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) for efficient human recognition via a biometric verification mechanism utilizing each fingerprint and facial recognition of voters.
The results of the pilot within the 84 polling models was very encouraging certainly.
It took a mean of only one minute for the machine to accurately find the voter within the system and one other two minutes to authenticate a voter

“… When it comes to the ruggedness of the machine and its battery life, no single BVAS was changed because of discharge of battery all through the voting interval.
Most significantly, the machine was in a position to assure the credibility of voter accreditation by stopping the incidents of a number of voting or the usage of stolen PVCs to vote.
All voters have been accredited electronically utilizing the BVAS.
