“I Wanted To Conduct Spiritual Deliverance On Her” – Prophet Who Knack 13-Years-Old Girl And Threatened Her With Madness
The Nigerian Prophet Adeleye Akingbaso who was arrested for $*.x*al assault has explained why he committed the heinous act of r**pe and threatening to make a 13-year-old girl mad spiritually if she reveals to anyone that he r**ped her.
It was reported that Prophet Adeleye Akingbaso was arrested and detained by Ekiti State Police Command for allegedly defiling the young girl whose identity is withheld while her mother was away.
The clergyman was then charged before an Ado Ekiti magistrate court, where the presiding judge ruled that he should be held in custody until the next court date.
Prophet Akingbaso allegedly stated in a statement on Thursday, August 18, that explaining the reason for committing the cr*me that he wanted to perform spiritual deliverance on the girl.
The statement reads in part,
“Investigation revealed that the suspect, on noticing that the victim’s mother had left home for a vigil in the Church, sneaked into their room and committed the act, claiming that he intended to spiritually deliver the victim. He further promised to attack her spiritually if she informs her mother.
“The suspect initially absconded after committing the offence but was later arrested by the Police. During interrogation, he confessed to the commission of the cr*me and was arraigned accordingly.”
