Kate Winslet

Kate Elizabeth Winslet CBE is an English actress who has received numerous accolades for her work. Kate played the role of Rose in the Titanic.

Kate began filming Titanic when she was 21 years old, and the film was released when she was 22. She also had to beg filmmaker James Cameron to cast her in the role.

Cameron was hesitant to cast her at first, but she pleaded with him, and he agreed “You don’t understand! I am Rose! I have no idea why you’re seeing anyone else!” He finally gave her the part because of her tenacity.
