Early life
Cheryl was born in Owen Sound, Ontario, and she went to West Hill Secondary School, also in Owen Sound, where she served as the President of the Student Council. Cheryl caught the “Mass media bug” when she was just 17 years old and worked at a small cable station. Ever since then, she has known that she wants to work in the field of journalism. Radio and Television Arts were among the subjects that she studied while she was at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
