Gunmen Invade Bishop David Oyedepo Church

kidnappers have attacked Residing Religion Church Worldwide at Osara community, alongside Lokoja-Okene street in Adavi Native Authorities Council of Kogi State.

DAILY POST gathered that the abductors, who invaded the church premises when a few of its members had been rehearsing in the course of the weekend, kidnapped over three members.

The assailants had been stated to have stormed the realm, taking pictures sporadically to scare away interveners earlier than whisking the victims to an unknown vacation spot.

The Chairman of Adavi Native Authorities Council, Joseph Omuya Salami, confirmed the event to newsmen on Monday night by way of his Particular Adviser on Media and Publicity, Habeeb Jamiu.

In line with him, the chairman had visited the scene in firm of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Osara Division for the reason that incident occured.

Habeeb Jamiu added that the council was working with safety brokers within the space to make sure that the victims are rescued unharmed.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Williams Ovye Aya, had not answered requires remark as at press time.
