Gulak: We don’t spill blood, assassination not part of our agenda – IPOB insists

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has insisted that it’s not a terrorist group and would not spill blood.

IPOB, whereas distancing itself from Gulak’s dying, careworn that the assassination of politicians should not be part of its agenda.

IPOB made the remark whereas insisting that it was not answerable for the murder of Ahmed Gulak, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

Some gunmen murdered Gulak whereas on his choice to Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, Imo State, yesterday.

The Nigeria intelligence group had linked the Gulak’s killing to IPOB, nonetheless the state Police Command had refuted such claims.

Imo State Police Command spokesman, Bala Elkana, had acknowledged armed bandits murdered the earlier presidential aide.

Nonetheless, Elkana later recanted his earlier remark, saying males of the Japanese Security Neighborhood, ESN, killed Gulak.

A Situation Report, SITREP, had confirmed that ESN operatives had waylaid and killed Gulak alongside the airport freeway at Obiangwu Junction at Ngor-Okpala Native Authorities House.

Reacting, IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Extremely efficient, distanced the secessionist group from the assassination.

An announcement by Extremely efficient reads: “The attention of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our good chief, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to the untenable allegation by the security agencies that IPOB was answerable for the assassination of former presidential aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak on his choice to Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri Imo State.

“We, subsequently, state with out equivocations that IPOB is conscious of nothing in regards to the acknowledged assassination. We had nothing in frequent with Gulak and could not have killed him.
