Four teenagers arrested for allegedly stealing goats in Kano

The Kano State Police Command has arrested 4 suspects over alleged theft of goats in Sani Mainagge quarters space of the state.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who disclosed this in an announcement on Tuesday, Could 25, stated the teenage suspects concentrate on livestock theft.

“On the 08/05/2021at about 1600hrs, data was obtained from Samaritan that, some younger males had been seen in a Tricycle with some goats suspected to be stolen. On receipt of the report, crew of Operation Puff Adder instantly rushed to the scene, upon sighting the Police, the suspects took to their heels,” he said.

“4 (4) of the next suspects had been arrested, one Aminu Musa, age 18 years outdated, Sani Abdullahi, age 18 years outdated, Huzaifa Jafar, age 18 years outdated and Rabiu Lukman, age 17 years outdated, all ‘m’ of Sani Mainagge quarters, Kano State.

“A Tricycle and Two (2) Goats, one (1) of the goat was already slaughtered by the suspects had been all recovered of their possession. Effort is ongoing to arrest different fleeing suspects as investigation is in Progress. The suspects will likely be cost to courtroom upon completion of investigation.”
