According to him, there is a lot of new crop of talents in the entertainment industry who are now gaining much more fame and money from their crafts than he used to in the past.

Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah intimated that he used to be one of the most famous musicians during his era and was highly respected by many including the elderly wherever he finds himself.

He recounted that elderly women at marketplaces in some communities used to lay their clothes on the ground for him to pass on with his car and despite the fame and money, he never allowed himself to be possessed by the spirit of pride.

Kwaakyire Kwame Appiah said it is very normal for anyone who gains fame or a certain level of status in society to be filled with pride, but he would entreat the young famous stars like Fameye, King Promise, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, and other top stars to be mindful of their way of life and how they relate to people now that they are at the peak of their music career.
