EPL: Why it’s difficult for Arsenal to finish top four in Premier League – Unai Emery

Former Arsenal head coach, Unai Emery, has revealed why it is now difficult for Arsenal to finish in the Premier League top four.

According to him, teams such as Manchester United, Liverpool and others make it difficult for the former Premier League champions to find their feet.

Emery, who now manages Villarreal in Spain, however, expressed the hope that the Emirates Stadium landlords will bounce back and return to the top four.

“They [Arsenal and Villarreal] are playing in the same competitions such as the Europa League, trying to achieve the top four and we’re trying to do the same in Spain,” he told football.london

“I think now it’s very difficult for Arsenal because of Liverpool, Manchester United and other teams but I think Arsenal is going to get back in the top four and recover as there’s stability in the club.

“The difference is also that as a coach for me, I am here and I am very happy in Villarreal.”

Emery, who led Arsenal to the Europa League final in his first year at the club, was sacked in the 6th month into the second year of his contract with the Gunners over poor results.
