Popular Television personality, Piers Morgan, has apologized to Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta after the Gunners’ Premier League 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday.

Morgan, a life-long fan of Arsenal, had often criticized Arteta’s coaching, regularly asking Arsenal to relieve the Spaniard of his responsibilities.

He also recently hit out at the former Manchester City assistant coach for letting go of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

However, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday, Morgan posted a picture of Arteta and wrote: “It’s been brought to my attention that I’m the only one of Arsenal’s 80 million fans who had any doubts about @m8arteta as manager, & that everyone else trusted his process from day one despite us crashing out of Europe & finishing 8th/8th/5th in the League.

“I’m sincerely sorry,” Morgan said.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table after their latest win against Liverpool.

Arteta’s men are ahead of Manchester City on the log with a point after nine matches.
