Emerson Royal (born January 14, 1999) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and the Brazil national team.
Emerson joined Ponte Preta’s junior system in 2014, after previously playing for Palmeiras, So Paulo, and Grêmio.
He made his senior debut on February 22, 2017, after appearing as an unused substitute in a few matches during the 2016 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.
Despite being cautioned and giving up a penalty, he made his debut three days later in So Bernardo’s 1–0 home loss.
