An affiliate of the politician informed Channels Tv that Kwankwanso might have been invited in relation to a petition by some retired workers of the Kano State Authorities.

The retired workers had claimed that the previous governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso mismanaged pension remittances to the tune of N10 billion between 2011 and 2015, to fund a housing challenge for his cronies.
