Edo police arrest 21-year-old househelp who allegedly abducted her employer’s two children in Lagos, rescue victims

Operatives of the Edo State Police Command has arrested a 21-year-old househelp, Treasured Mmaduike, who allegedly kidnapped her employer’s two youngsters in Lagos.

Spokesperson of the command, Bello Kontongs, who disclosed this in an announcement on Saturday, August 28, mentioned operatives rescued the victims, David Ibe, 4, and Chizaram, 2, each youngsters of 1 Mr Ibe Phenasus of No. 31 Balogun kuku road, Aguda Surulere, Lagos State.

The assertion mentioned the housemaid was arrested together with two different suspects, Jane Osas, 35 and 45-year-old John Obasu.

“The kidnapping was deliberate and executed by Treasured Mmaduike, who used her familiarity with the kids as their househelp and kidnapped them from Lagos to Benin Metropolis, Edo State,  on August 23, 2021,” the PPRO said.

“In accordance with the complainant who is also the daddy of the kids, at about 08:45hrs, his youngsters got N500 by his wife to purchase biscuit exterior the compound in Lagos within the firm of their housemaid.
