Ayesha Rascoe eventually tied the knot with Patrick, her long-term boyfriend. After dating for a number of years prior to their wedding in 2012, the couple finally tied the knot. Additionally, the journalist partner’s name is Patrick, and he served in the United States military. He gave his service to his country.

Rascoe just just posted a picture of her and her husband’s wedding, in which her uncle served as the officiant. The couple exchanged vows during a wedding ceremony that was attended by members of her family.

She was given the position of hosting NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday on a full-time basis later in the month of March 2022.

Ayesha, who has origins in the South, is the host of the morning news magazine. In this role, she analyzes the stories while conducting interviews with influential people in the news, entertainment, and politics.

After having a conversation with her mother and uncle, she became aware of how little she knew about what had happened to her family in the intervening 10 and 13 years. Her mother had a tough upbringing because of the circumstances she was raised in.

Rascoe asserts that her maternal uncle and maternal mother were just children when they encountered horrific events. In addition to this, she showed the image of her uncle dressed up as a religious leader. He was the individual who actually presided over the wedding ceremony of the journalist.

Rascoe took a leave of absence from Weekend Edition in June 2022 for the two Sundays that followed. Maybe when she was on vacation, she got to spend time with her spouse and family. Nevertheless, reporters Elisa Nadworny and Shannon Bond covered for her while she was out of commission during that period.
