The 2022 Game Awards show had a couple of nomination categories from which winners picked up on the night. The nomination categories include ‘Game of the Year, ‘Best Game Direction’, ‘Best Narrative’, ‘Best Art Direction, ‘Best Score and Music’, ‘Best Audio Design’ and many more.

God of War Ragnarok won five awards but could not win the Game of the Year award. God of War Ragnarok won Best Narrative, Best Score and Music, Best Audio Design, Innovation in Accessibility and Best Action/Adventure Game of the year.
