Dealing with bandits has been easier since telecom shutdown

Zamfara State Commissioner for Data, Ibrahim Dosara has mentioned that shutting down telecommunication companies within the state has added to the success of an ongoing army onslaught in opposition to bandits.

Talking at a press briefing within the state, Dosara mentioned some identified camps have been destroyed by the Air Pressure whereas the Military can also be on the bottom to neutralise those that managed to flee by way of footpaths.

He mentioned;

“Zamfara State Authorities in efforts to make sure the crashing of the bandits has requested for the closing down of all networks within the state and this has been efficient.

“The safety officers are discovering it very simple to take care of the bandits of their enclaves within the forests.”

Noting that the state authorities has taken different measures to handle safety challenges within the state primarily based on obtainable credible data and intelligence, Dosara added that some unlawful motor parks and roadside markets, particularly these at Kauran Namoda-Jibia street, Lambar Bakura junction, Mayanchi-Anka junction, Garejin Mai Lena, in addition to Filin Jirgi rice and greens market in Gusau Metropolitan have been closed down.

He added;
