David Wheeler, Alabama State Representative, has sadly passed away. He is reported to have died today, March 9, 2022, at the age of 72. Wheeler was married to Diane Reeves Wheeler and resided in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. They attended the All Saints Episcopal Church in Homewood, Alabama. There are no records of his children. Alabama House Speaker Mac McCutcheon, R-Monrovia, said in a statement “It was rare that David came to the microphone to speak on legislation, but when he did his words carried weight. I’ll miss him and so will the members of the House.”
