Danish husband of Nigerian singer Zainab will get loss of life sentence for killing her and their baby
Judgment has been delivered within the case of a Nigerian singer, Zainab Alizee, whose Danish husband killed her and their 3-year-old daughter at their Banana Island residence, Ikoyi, Lagos.
A Lagos Excessive Courtroom on Friday, Could 20, sentenced Peter Nielsen to loss of life by hanging for killing his Nigerian wife and daughter.
Justice Bolanle Okikiolu-Ighile convicted Nielsen, 54, on two counts of homicide introduced towards him by the Lagos State Authorities.
The decide sentenced Nielsen to loss of life by hanging on each counts.
Lagos State Authorities accused Peter Nielsen of smothering Zainab and Petra to loss of life at 3.45 a.m. on April 5, 2018, at No. 4, Flat 17, Bella Vista Tower, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Nielsen was arraigned on June 13, 2018.
He pleaded not responsible to the two-count cost of homicide opposite to Part 223 of the Legal Legislation of Lagos State, 2015.
