Church members returning from burial suffer accident; at least 2 dead

At least two members of a church have died after their bus was involved in an accident.

The church members attended a burial and were on their way back to base on Sunday, Dec 20, when the accident occurred in Akwa Ibom.

Photos from the scene show a lady lying lifeless on the floor and others bleeding while some escaped unharmed.

 

They were travelling on a mission bus with The Apostolic Church written on it.

 

 

According to reports, the occupants of the bus are believed to be the choir members of The Apostolic Church and they were returning to Oron from where the burial took place.

The injured ones were taken to a nearby hospital.
