Ryan Grantham is a Canadian actor.

Grantham made his acting debut in the 2007 TV film The Secret of the Nutcracker and has since appeared in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Liz, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Becoming Redwood.

He also starred as Jeffery Augustine in one 2019 episode of the CW series. His character killed Luke Perry’s character, Fred Andrews, amid a hit and run.

Grantham pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on March 31, 2020, for the killing of his mother Barbara Waite. Prosecutors alleged that he also plotted to kill Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau but did not go along with it and turned himself in at Vancouver police headquarters.

During Grantham’s June sentencing hearing, his lawyer Chris Johnson argued that mental illness caused his client to commit murder.

He is currently awaiting sentencing for the murder of his mother to ascertain when he will become eligible for parole.
