Burna Boy Celebrates As “Ye” Becomes RIAA Gold Certified In The US

Damini Ogulu has got another achievement in the bag a few weeks after winning his first Grammy award. His smash hit “Ye” recently bagged a Gold Certification by RIAA.

Yes, “Ye” a standout track from Burna Boy’s “Outside” album has sold over 500, 000 copies in the US the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song was released August 2018.

This makes Burna Boy the second Nigerian musician to get a Gold RIAA certification in the US for their song. He took to twitter to announce as well as celebrate his win.

At the moment only Davido and Burna Boy own songs that are Gold certified in the US.
