Brig Owens was an American soccer protection. He was born on February 16, 1943 in Linden, Texas.

Immediately after enjoying collegiate soccer for Cincinnati, he was picked by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1965 NFL Draft as the 89th total.

Owens used his job in the Nationwide Soccer League for only two groups the Dallas Cowboys in 1965 and the Washington Redskins from 1966 to 1977.

In the 12 months 1979, he attained an induction into the University of Cincinnati Athletics Corridor of Fame, the Orange County Sports Hall of Fame in 1982 and the Fullerton University Athletics Hall of Fame in the 12 months 2005.

Former soccer protection for Dallas Cowboys, Brig Owens died on June 21, 2022 aged 79. The induce of his demise is not recognized.
