BREAKING NEWS!!! President Buhari Appoints New Service Chiefs. The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has appointed new Service Chiefs to continue the operation of the former ones.

Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity announced the retirement of the outgoing chiefs and approved the appointment of the new chiefs via Twitter.

”PMB appoints new Service Chiefs. Maj Gen LEO Irabor, CDS, Maj Gen I Attahiru, Army, Rear Adm AZ Gambo, Navy, AVM IO Amao, Air Force. He congratulates outgoing Service Chiefs on efforts to bring enduring peace to the country.”

Major Gen. Leo Irabor is now Chief of Defence Staff, Major General I. Attahiru assumes office as the Chief of Army Staff. Rear Admiral AZ Gambo is currently the new Chief of Naval Staff while Air Vice Marshall I.0 Amao is now the Chief of Air staff.
