Beth Morris was a Welsh actress and the former partner of English actor Bill Nighy.

Beth Morris was most famous for her role as Julia Drusilla in the 1976 BBC adaptation of I, Claudius.

Her television credits include Softly, Softly, Dixon of Dock Green, David Copperfield, Blake’s 7, Minder, The District Nurse, and Time Trumpet, and she worked from 1969 to 2004.

Among her stage appearances was Bertolt Brecht’s Edward II at London’s Round House Theatre.

Beth Morris was found dead in her home in Y Garn, Penllergaer, on St David’s Day at the age of 74 in 2018

Bill Nighy is best known for his roles in films such as “Love Actually,” “About Time,” and the “Underworld” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchises.

His performances in the BBC One series State of Play, as well as the TV films The Girl in the Café, Gideon’s Daughter, and Page Eight, earned him Golden Globe nominations, with Gideon’s Daughter winning one.

Nighy received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Play in 2015 after appearing on Broadway with Carey Mulligan in the acclaimed revival of Skylight.
