As seen in the video attached herein, the BBNaija star paid visits to women who hawk akara and pap as well as roasted yam by the roadside and put smiles on their faces by patronizing them.
She bought food from each of them and gave them bindles of cash way beyond the price of what she bought. To even relate to them properly as it were, she was captured eating some of the meals in the open while interacting with the women.
According to her, her actions were guided by the Holy Spirit’s instructions. ”I realize the reason why the Holy Spirit kept telling me to do this”, she wrote.
Away from that, Ghanaian rapper and pioneer of Hiplife (the amalgamation of indigenous rhythms; Highlife and Hiphop) has said Nigerian legend Fela Kuti was inspired by Ghanaian rhythms, particularly Highlife.
He made this assertion to reinforce his position on why there’s nothing wrong with Ghanaians trying hard to sound like their Nigerian counterparts in the realms of Afrobeats. In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, he said;
If this is what is trending, there’s nothing wrong in jumping on the bandwagon as far as you are talented. Fela Kuti, who is credited as the originator of Afrobeats, took lots of inspiration from Ghana and particularly, Highlife music.
To this end, he said there’s nothing wrong with the new crop of artists forming the New School sounding so much like Nigerians- with names like Kelvyn Boy, Camidoh, AK Songstress amongst others.
