Bandit gunned down on Kaduna-Abuja highway
A bandit, stated to be a member of an armed gang terrorising residents of Kaduna State has been killed.
The bandit was killed throughout an change of gunfire with safety operatives round Kasarami village on Kaduna-Abuja freeway, within the wee hours of Thursday September 16.
An eyewitness instructed Day by day Belief that two civilians have been killed whereas a safety automobile was destroyed by the bandits through the shoot out. The youth chief stated;
“A bandit was killed by safety forces during the assault.
“A driver and his conductor who have been travelling through the incident, have been additionally killed.”
The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed confirmed the incident, saying safety forces foiled the assault and a bandit was neutralised whereas two travellers died.
