Angelo Badalamenti Wife: Meet Lonny Badalamenti: Angelo Badalamenti was an American composer born on March 22, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York to John Badalamenti and Leonora Badalamenti.

He attended Lafayette High School and continued at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, but after two years he transferred to the Manhattan School of Music, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1958 and a master’s degree in 1959.

Angelo Badalamenti composed the opening theme song for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and was best known for scoring films for director David Lynch, notably Blue Velvet, the Twin Peaks saga, The Straight Story, Mulholland Drive and has received several notable awards and accolades.

In 2008, Angelo Badalamenti received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the World Soundtrack Awards academy and a Henry Mancini Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers in 2011.

Angelo Badalamenti died on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the age of 85. He died at his home in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. The cause of his death and final funeral arrangements are yet to be made public
