Baucom’s sister, Gail, instructed Houston tv station KPRC: “She is our hero, and we hope she will probably be remembered as a hero as a result of she misplaced her life attempting to guard her staff and Cracker Barrel.”

Baucom had a husband, three youngsters and three grandchildren.
