The majority of these shows, including “The Watcher,” are available to stream online through services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

HBO’s “The Outsider” is a psychological thriller drama series made by Richard Price that centers on the investigation of the horrible death of a young boy. The novel on which the series is based was written by Stephen King in 2018 and bears the same name as the book. The ideas of one of the key investigators of the case, however, are turned on their head when a mysterious and supernatural power is shown to be connected to the case. As a result, he starts to question everything. In spite of the fact that ‘The Watcher’ does not deal with the death of a young kid, ‘The Outsider’ is very similar to it in terms of both the manner of direction and the mystery that surrounds the primary perpetrator of the events that take place in each series.

Hulu’s “The Patient” is a psychological thriller series that was co-created by Joel Fields and Joseph Weisberg. Sam goes to Alan for assistance by holding him as a prisoner so that he may get away from the cravings to kill that he has. Both “The Patient” and “The Watcher” include menacing figures—a serial killer and a creepy stalker, respectively—who harass the protagonists in their own unique ways in order to express their presence in the protagonists’ life. This is the common thread that connects the two stories.
