5 Houses In Abuja, 2 In Lagos: Ex Kwara Governor’s Properties Marked For Seizure

On Wednesday, the Property Administration Company of Nigeria (AMCON) seized some homes belonging to former Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed of Kwara State over a N5 billion debt.

There are a number of homes within the property situated at No. 9A Abdulrazaq Avenue, GRA, Ilorin.

In accordance with Jude Nwazor, spokesman of AMCON, the company seized the property because of the non-performing loans of the previous governor and his firms from the previous Intercontinental Financial institution, FinBank and Financial institution PHB.

He mentioned all efforts to get better the debt from the previous governor proved abortive till the company bought justice in court docket.

Hon. Justice A.M. Liman ordered the freezing of the financial institution accounts of the previous governor and his two firms together with Trans Properties and Funding Restricted and Trans It Consulting Restricted in Go well with No: FHC/L/AMC/01/2021.
